A thought

One of my friends from back home in NY just bought a 2003 M3 Convertible. I was looking for a coupe, but over spring break I definately plan on checking out his new ride and seeing what i think. I've heard some interesting comments, but I am definately trying to get more feedback from people who have driven a fun car, or know someone that has. Altogether my initial surge to get a new ride is kind of waning in general. I'm not sure what I am planning on doing after I graduate next year, either law school, or work for a few years and then go back and get my MBA. At this point I'm kind of leaning towards law school, as I am very interested in intellectual property law, and am having difficulty breaking into the area of business I enjoy. What this basically means is that I'm not sure if taking on debt for a car is a smart idea when my Jeep is completely paid off and will get me through winters wherever I wind up. If I go to school in Boston the idea of a sports car is useless, and if I wind up in Miami I will be unable to afford it if they do not give me academic scholarships. We shall see though, that is still a little ways down the road. Otherwise, I will post some pics of my Jeep on the blog so you can check it out.

i am sure there will be car-related sites that have consumers providing extensive feedback on their experiences with their cars etc ?

always curious why people would need to go for a new car if they have a perfectly good one that is paid off!

Im a junior, finance major, taking this as my professional elective. I'm graduating a semester early because I came into school with loads of AP credits. I will be applying to law school this summer, and waiting to hear back next spring. Hope it goes well, if not I'll just have a new ride and no idea what to do!
