Hybrid Cars
The recent high gas prices have spawned new development into Hybri Cars. Toyota, currently on the forefront plans to sell 300,000 hybrid cars before the end of 2006. Currently they have two massed produced models available for sale. The Toyato Prius is a compact sedan with a gas and electric engine estimated to average around 50-60mpg. They also have the Lexus RX400h (hybrid powered with gas/electric motors) as their SUV/Crossover available in this energy saving format. By 2010 Toyota has two goals. 1) have a hybrid choice for every model line they sell, and 2) to have sold more than 1million hybrid vehicles. This seems ambitios, yet attainable, as Toyota spends billions a year on reserach in this field

That is so weird that you brought up hybrid cars...I was actually going to ask your opinion on them. I've heard a lot about them in the news lately. Even that people were selling their used hybrids for thousands more than a new car would cost JUST because they are in such high demand! I don't know about spending that much, but with the insane gas prices these days...I guess I can see where they are coming from!
Gas prices have been out of control lately. It cost me like 30 dollars just to fill my tank up.
Do you think that Hybrid cars will certainly be the way to go in the future? I've seen reports on other types of fuel and energy efficient cars such as solar cars, however they don't appear to be successful the way hybrids are yet.

Hi ,some great stuff here.Im an avid car lover and came across a site about Antique Cars# that I thought was worth sharing as they have some really fantastic resources, considering how old these things are now I really struggle to get good information so if you enjoy the vehicles of the past go like I do then take a look.
Would you like an alternative to high costing gasoline? What if you could run your car or truck on a totally safe, enviromentally friendly, CHEAP FUEL SOURCE?
